What is the LCF planning to do in the future?
In order to foster action, debate and reflection related to European citizenship and democracy, as well as to offer insights into the impact of European policies in societies and people's well being, employment, social cohesion and sustainable development, the LCF proposal plans to implement the following activities:
The LCF can already rely on clusters in several European countries such as France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Turkey, and brings together heterogeneous groups of experts with respect to skills, age and gender. These clusters are well anchored and connected in their own country and on the European level. However, in its process of institutionalization it will expand this characteristic through including specialists from relevant fields of scientific, business and public community.
Within the existing network, the LCF plans to offer opportunities for young researchers to conduct studies and discuss the European challenges in the context of the Lisbon strategy.
The LCF aims to expand both the results of research conducted on the implementation of the Lisbon agenda and to promote its goals with a series of activities. In order to achieve theses goals, it will try to organize conferences and publish articles that will deal with the future-orientation of our societies.
