Augsburg 2007: Innovative Strategies for Europe's Future
28th and 29th June, 2007
In June 2007, the LCF invited politicians, industrialists and scientists to Augsburg to take part in the process of making Europe fit for the 21st century. The aim was to get Europe ahead in the spirit of the Lisbon agenda. This agenda was ratified in 2000 by the EU's leading politicians and was centered around the goal to make Europe the most competitive and the most dynamic knowledge-based economy in the world by 2010.
The conference was under the patronage of the Bavarian State Minister for Federal and European Affairs, Ms. Emilia Müller
